Thanks for the responses, guys. Do note that I love Mootools and everything it does. It’s an excellent project. In all fairness you guys have done some great work on the new site as far as documentation and demos go.

I will continue to use and recommend Mootools as a well-written and powerful JS framework.

These are all great points. We obviously have some work to do. If you want to get involved in making these things better our dev team always needs more hands.

Regardless, candid feedback from people actually using what we produce is always great to receive, even when they point out our shortcomings.

Not that the positive comments are lost on us…

Nice review, i agree with most of the things but i dont think that the 1.2 mootools site and the documentation sux, they are very clean and easy to find what i want.

I do agree that its needing some more examples and i can tell you there’s work on this direction by the community. There will be “live demos” on the site, that you will be able to change the code for your purpose before actually using them.

And hey, 1.2 is really better than 1.1, that was a positive change.
